We are a data infrastructure for the social science community in Austria and offer a variety of research support services, primarily data archiving and help with data re-use. We make social science data accessible, creating opportunities for research and data reuse. Since July 2020, we have been certified with the Core Trust Seal (CTS) as a "trustworthy data repository".

Between 2014 and 2018, PUMA - Platform for Surveys, Methods and Empirical Analyses - conducted high-quality surveys in cooperation with Austrian universities, extramural research institutions and Statistics Austria. AUSSDA attended this year's Dataverse Community Meeting at Harvard University to present pyDataverse, a newly developed tool for our data repository Dataverse, to 180 participants.

As part of a project, Corinna Mayerl and her colleagues at SORA have developed 25 voter transition analyses based on the election results of all national elections in Austria since 1919. The election results are now available in the AUSSDA Dataverse.
