We are a data infrastructure for the social science community in Austria and offer a variety of research support services, primarily data archiving and help with data re-use. We make social science data accessible, creating opportunities for research and data reuse. Since July 2020, we have been certified with the Core Trust Seal (CTS) as a "trustworthy data repository".

In autumn 2019, AUSSDA organised a survey in the context of the EU project EOSC-Pillar in order to evaluate research supporting infrastructures in five European countries. The data is now available in the AUSSDA repository – here is a glimpse on the results.

With the Democracy Radar, Flooh Perlot and his team at the Austrian Democracy Lab analyse the attitudes of the Austrian population towards questions of democracy. The researchers survey about 9,000 people per year, e.g. on their trust in politics. The first data set of the Democracy Radar is now available at AUSSDA.
